Phoenix Calling have just been into the TV studio to record an interview with Johnny Doom for his AMP'D TV show. It will be on air on Freeview Channel 8, Virgin 159 and www.BigCentre.TV on Wednesday 10th February at 10pm.
Hot on the heels of the video being playlisted on Kerrang! TV, Hold On To Glory had its debut play on the Johnny Doom show on Wednesday 27th January. Introducing the track, Johnny simply said "This is brilliant!".
We understand that Johnny is giving it multiple plays over the next few weeks. His show goes out weeknights from 7pm - 10pm
We are delighted to announce that the video for 'Hold On To Glory' has been playlisted on Kerrang! TV. This video is hot on the heels of 'Traces' and 'Wasted Life' - both of which were also playlisted.
Hold On To Glory features boxing legend Dave 'Boy' Green and Tommy Martin who has a Commonwealth Light-Welterweight title bout on January 30th at the Copper Box Arena in London. The bout is being shown live on Sky Sports and we'd like to wish Tommy the best of luck!
So, Phoenix Calling have had an awesome year in 2015 and it looks set to continue into 2016. The band is hitting the ground running with the release of its next single 'Hold on to Glory' from the highly acclaimed 'Forget Your Ghosts' album.
The video was shot at a famous boxing gym and features a current champion boxer and an absolute legend from a few years ago. Click here for a teaser - the full video will be released soon!
Thanks for your continued support and all the best for 2016!
Phoenix Calling are delighted to have been invited to play some awesome venues in Poland over the weekend of 19th/20th September. The mini-tour kicks off at the legendary 'Rock On' venue in Warsaw on Friday night and then it's straight off to Krakow for Vi Fest on the Saturday.
Poland's biggest rock radio station, AntyRadio, has been playing tracks from the 'Forget Your Ghosts' album in the run up to the tour and will be interviewing the band live on Friday night before the gig.
So, if any of our Polish TeamPC crew are about, come along and meet the guys, we'd love to see you!
'Traces' has been released today and has already been played on over 80 radio stations in the UK and USA. It's already on the A playlist of Voice FM and Nevis radio. The video is also on the playlist of Kerrang TV - hot on the heels of the previous video for 'Wasted Life'.
It's been another very busy month for the band with radio sessions (including BBC Radio Cambridgeshire Introducing), festival slots and additional gigs. They are headlining at the O2 Academy 3 in Birmingham on Saturday 1st August and then the Wisbech Rock Festival on Sunday 2nd. They are then closing the Redhill Rocks festival on 30th August.
